Commissioner for Human Rights Liudmyla Denisova: еvery day there is new evidence of horrific sexual crimes by Russians from the liberated territories. A 17-year-old girl and her grandmother applied to the special telephone line of the Commissioner for Provision of Confidential Psychological Assistance, who gave permission for the publication of her story.
Three Russian occupiers raped a mother and 15-year-old younger sister in front of the girl in Irpin. They were beaten and raped with special cruelty. Both are dead. The girl in a state of psychological shock lived with the corpses in the house for 4 days. After the liberation of the city she was able to get to her grandmother.
She said that while her relatives were being killed, she was being held and not touched, “because I am ugly.” They said, “Live and pass on to others.” Our psychologists work with her.
Since April 1, more than 400 people have applied for a special telephone line of the Commissioner, supported by UNICEF.
Most of the appeals are related to sexual crimes committed by the russian military. Their number is growing every day. There are five psychologists on the line, who are already joined by psychiatrists.
