Ekaterina Andreeva, our latest edition to “Anti-westerners on the West” rubric, is known for her Instagram account that reads more like a travel blog.
And yet, she is one of the most active promoters of Kremlin’s anti-Western messages and even has a reputation of “Putin’s favorite anchor”.
Ironically enough, her interview to BBC a couple years ago garnered a lot of attention for points like: “I do not watch TV, it is too aggressive”, “it is not propaganda, just a calm, balanced presentation of information” and “omission is not a lie”.
