How Ukraine’s drones are crippling Russia’s military industry

Last week saw some of the most intense drone strikes on Russian military facilities since the beginning of the war. The AFU was able to target military facilities as far as 1,100 deep into Russian territory, marking a significant achievement for Ukrainian forces.

The purpose of these drone strikes was to thwart Russian capacity to wage war by targeting warehouses that hold ammunition and fuel, military production sites, and other similar facilities. By damaging and destroying Russian military objects, drone strikes became an effective tool in Ukrainian defense strategy. The growth in Ukrainian drone strikes’ capacity signifies an opportunity for inflicting large-scale damage to Russia’s military and industrial complex, which is already creating problems for Russian logistics and its economy.
