He said that militants delivered provocative fire from 82-mm and 120-mm mortar launchers, anti-aircraft mounts and grenade launchers towards Krasnohorivka. Russia-backed militant groups also shot at Pisky, Opytne, Novhorodske, Avdiivka, Mariinka and Verkhniotoretske from grenade launchers, large machine guns and small arms. Small arms were used in Taramchuk, while in the Artemivsk sector militants assaulted Zaitseve, Luhanske and Maiorsk using grenade launchers, large machine guns and small arms. Luhanske and Leninske were attacked from infantry combat vehicles weapons, grenade launchers and large machine guns. In the Luhansk sector militants assaulted Bolotenne using mortar launchers and small arms, while small arms were used in Shyrokyne and Chermalyk.
Pro-Russian militant groups delivered precision fire from grenade launchers and small arms on Ukrainian positions near Novhorodske and Triokhizbenka.
“A firefight took place near Syze on November 25, which resulted in militants’ instant escape from the place of combat,” said Captain Matiukhin. He added that another firefight took place near Kamianka the next day. “A group consisting of six people got to our positions to less than 200 metres and started shooting. Ukrainian troops responded with fire and the militants retreated in 25 minutes,” said the spokesperson.
