Anti-Ukrainian narratives pushed by the Kremlin as deflection tactics

The Kremlin has been known to push anti-Ukrainian narratives as deflection tactics to divert attention from its actions. These narratives often aim to portray Ukraine as a weak and ineffective state that cannot obtain victory on the battlefield, deflecting attention from Russia’s cannibalistic method of making war.

Propaganda is one of the few ways to maintain the stability of his regime despite the extremely ineffective implementation of the war, resulting in the constant death of large numbers of Russian troops. This reassures the Russian population from any large-scale protests and actions to stop the war of aggression that their government has started.

However, to effectively counter the Russian threat and destabilize the Russian state, it is necessary to know precisely which narratives Russia uses in its arsenal to divert attention, especially if these narratives hide the genocidal policies of the Russian government against the population or war crimes committed by the Russian military.
