Today Ukraine’s President Petro Poroshenko will introduce a bill on amendments to the Constitution for parliament’s consideration. It was stated by Petro Poroshenko at the meeting with representatives of local government and the state government. Poroshenko offers to pass the draft law on amendments into the Ukrainian Constitution for the consideration of the European Commission for Democracy through Law (Venice Commission). The draft law proposes to eliminate local state administrations and the creation of executive committees and councils in regions and districts. In addition, the project envisions that a significant part of taxes will not be transferred to the state budget, but will remain on the ground and promises guarantees for parliamentary opposition.

The Cabinet of Ministers are developing a program on energy-efficient technology implementation and fuel substitution, Ukraine’s deputy minister for regional policy Volodymyr Groysman said. He emphasized that the Cabinet of Ministers is engineering a solution of how to implement energy-efficient technology quickly and what motivations could be for fuel substitution. It was stated in his speech at the Day of dialogue between representatives of local government and the state government.

At the meeting on Wednesday, the government of Ukraine made a decision on the necessity of engineering and technical equipment of the border between Ukraine and Russia, Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers Ostap Semerak said. “”We (the Cabinet of Ministers) have made appropriate decisions regarding the engineering equipment of the state border,” he told at the press-conference on Wednesday in Kyiv.
