“Russia-backed militants violated the ceasefire four times in Donetsk sector. Ukrainian troops did not return fire. Moreover, no ceasefire violations were recorded in Luhansk sector yesterday”, reported Ukrainian Ministry of Defense spokesman on ATO Colonel Dmytro Hutsulyak at a press briefing at Ukraine Crisis Media Center.

In the afternoon and in the evening, Russian proxies opened fire in Vodiane area. “The enemy used small arms to provoke our servicemen to return fire. At first, they used heavy machine guns, the second attack involved more types of small arms. The shooting continued for about one hour, however, our troops did not return fire,” elaborated Col. Hutsulyak.

Late at night, militants employed heavy machine guns and sniper rifles against Ukrainian positions in Avdiivka. They also violated the ceasefire near Kamianka using the same weapons.

Unfortunately, two Ukrainian troops were wounded in action yesterday during militants’ attack near Vodiane.
