Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the Coordination Centre has managed to free 3,981 Ukrainians from captivity. The defenders suffer from acute chronic illnesses, the consequences of mine-blast injuries, and severe wounds.
After the exchange, all those released from captivity undergo a medical examination, receive the necessary psychological assistance and undergo rehabilitation.
