Exactly one year ago, on September 5, the Minsk agreement was signed – it was a road map for resolving the conflict in eastern Ukraine. Over the year, the situation on the occupied territories has only deteriorated. Russia-backed militants and mercenaries have been violating international agreements and laws of war by committing war crimes. The result was thousands of victims as well as despair, devastation and repression of the innocent population.
