Kyiv, July 14, 2014 – Russia is getting ready to a full-scale military intrusion into Ukrainian territory. Russian Federation is planning to bring in special forces of Main Intelligence Directorate. It was the announcement head of the Military Political Studies Center, “Informatsiynyi Sprotyv” (“Informational Resistance”) group coordinator Dmytro Tymchuk made during his media briefing in Ukraine Crisis Media Center. «During last weekend we received exhaustive evidence of it. Special forces – intelligence subversive groups of Main Intelligence Directorate of Russia (GRU) are arriving to Rostov. According to the information we have, unit commanders are ready to enter Ukraine’s territory on July 15. This information was corroborated by various sources. The only question remains under what guise these units will be brought into Ukraine. Whether it is planned to enter them posing as peacemakers, or it will be a “green men” format, which we could observe in Crimea in April», – informed Dmytro Tymchuk.

The expert stated, that, according to their data, it is unlikely that these troops would be entered as peacemakers, «it is about further sabotage operations, when Russian military men are working at Donbas within special units supporting terrorists». Dmytro Tymchuk added that after the events in Crimea in April and May all these assigned special task forces were withdrawn from the territory of Ukraine, now they are just returning.

At first heavy vehicles shifted into Ukrainian territory were driven by mercenaries. At present it becomes more and more frequent that the majority of war equipment are manned and followed by combat crews from among Russian military men. “Thus, we speak of а full-fledged military invasion into Donbas from Russian side», – emphasized the representative of “Informatsiynyi Sprotyv” group.
