Two key DPR’s field commanders Igor Girkin (aka Strelok) and Igor Bezler (aka Bes) have disappeared to an undisclosed location, but the situation in Horlivka has become very threatening for the entire Ukraine, colonel-general in reserve Vladimir Ruban, negotiator, who makes prisoners exchange told Hvylya news agency. Ruban also added if gunmen realize their hideous plan, wind from the east will spread dangerous substance to the west. According to prognoses there will have been preliminary east wind in the region for the next week.

The mayor of the central Ukrainian town of Kremenchuk was shot dead on Saturday, 26 July, and the house of another mayor in Lviv was hit by fire from a grenade launcher on 25 July. SBU and Ministry of internal affairs consider qualifying these crimes not as an assassination attempt, but as a terrorist act. Those crimes are put under special control of Arsen Avakov, Anton Gerashchenko, an aide to the country’s Interior Minister, informed on his Facebook page.

The head of Kherson regional administration Yuriy Odarchenko resigned on Friday, the administration announced today. “Prime minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk with the whole Cabinet of Ministers resigned in protest over the dissolution of the majority coalition in the Verkhovna Rada. I was appointed following the recommendation of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine,” Odarchenko said in a statement. He thinks he has been deprived of the opportunity to perform his duties in the interest of the people of the region.
