Results of the week. Days 943-947 of resistance

The week was marked by the continuation of hostilities along the entire front line, as well as strikes by the Russian Federation on the rear territory of Ukraine.

Russian troops have approached Vuhledar and there is a risk of its encirclement, intense fighting is also going on in the Pokrovsk sector. This week, the Russian army began using long-range KAB guided bombs – they hit civilian buildings in the center of Zaporizhzhia and Kharkiv.

According to Bild, Russian troops have probably started using Chinese armored vehicles at the front; according to Reuters, Russia has a secret project to develop military drones in China.

The biggest diplomatic news of the week is President Zelenskyi’s visit to the USA. He spoke at the UN General Assembly, and also had a meeting with President Biden, to whom he presented the victory plan. The US allocated almost $8 billion for weapons for Ukraine, including JSOW and Patriot air bombs. According to Bloomberg, the Bank of Russia recognized the beginning of stagflation.

“They are not proposals for peace. Instead, they are proposals for surrender.”

At the meeting with Zelenskyi, Harris said calls for Ukraine to cede territory to Russia were unacceptable. U.S. presidential candidate Kamala Harris said that no decisions on ending Russia’s war against Ukraine can be made without Ukraine’s participation, and called proposals to give up part of the territory unacceptable and dangerous.”

Harris said this during a joint press conference broadcast by the White House. “

“There were some in my country who would instead force Ukraine to give up large parts of its sovereign territory, who would demand that Ukraine accept neutrality. These proposals are the same of those of Putin. And they are not proposals for peace. Instead, they are proposals for surrender. This is dangerous and unacceptable,” she emphasized.
