The global initiative T4P (Tribunal for Putin) was established in response to Russia’s full-scale aggression, which began in February 2022.. Over the course of three years, participants of the initiative — nearly 40 civil society organizations — documented events that exhibit characteristics of crimes under the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court in all regions of Ukraine. During this time, we have managed to document nearly 85,000 such incidents.
At the event, the results of the initiative’s three-year work will be presented, followed by a discussion of future steps and scenarios for the further development of justice concerning war crimes. Specifically, the following topics will be covered:
- A tribunal for Russia’s aggression against Ukraine: what could it be and will it happen?
- How does a potential peace deal and the changing geopolitical landscape affect the prosecution of Putin, Lukashenko and other war criminals?
- To what extent is the national justice system ready to investigate war crimes?
- How can social protection and support be provided to victims?
The event will be held in Ukrainian with simultaneous interpretation into English. Participation is only possible with prior registration via the provided link. The detailed program and participation confirmation will be sent to registered participants one day before the event.
