We invite you to join the presentation of our new online course “Disinformation: Types, Tools and Countermeasures” on September 9 at 12 pm.

The online course “Disinformation: Types, Tools and Countermeasures” was created by the leading experts at Ukraine Crisis Media Center, Center for Strategic Communications and Information Security, StopFake and Euromaidan Press. The participants of the course will explore disinformation, narratives and hybrid wars, learn how to recognize and debunk fake news, as well as see real-life examples of how hostile information operations are implemented and what their consequences are.

The course consists of 5 modules that cover the following topics:

  • Disinformation as a system
  • Narrative as the key element of propaganda
  • Main tools and tactics of disinformation
  • Fake news as a tool for constructing a narrative

Practical threats of disinformation in UkraineThe course is free and will be useful for everyone interested in the topic, especially for journalists, students (in particular, in the fields of political science, journalism, media communications, sociology) and teachers, civic activists, government officials and members of local communities.
