We invite government representatives, journalists, experts and scientists to take part in a public discussion “Resilience measurement: tools for crisis management and security” that will be held on Monday, July 29, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. at the Ukraine Crisis Media Center (2 Khreshchatyk St.).

The goal of the event is to discuss modern methods, practices and tools for measuring the resilience of society, businesses and communities, as well as their application in managing crisis and enhancing security. Special attention will be paid to civic resilience in Ukraine and international experience in the conditions of hybrid threats.

As a result of measuring resilience, it is possible to improve crisis management procedures, security culture, and tools for managing organizational transformations. One of the tasks of the Resilient Ukraine NGO is to help communities, departments and organizations choose the best measurement methods for themselves.

Issues for discussion:

  • Sociological resilience measurements among Ukrainians: analysis of the level of population’s resistance and resilience in conditions of constant crisis situations.
  • Measuring resilience in the Baltic States in the context of hybrid threats.
  • How to more effectively use research results in public policies in the field of resilience.
  • Success cases and practical tips for implementing the resilience system in various fields.
