Following Russia’s attack on the Kakhovka HPP, over 200 tritons were washed ashore along the coast of Odesa. They are listed in the ‘Red Book of Ukraine’, an official list of endangered animals, plants, and fungi protected by law. Only 55 of these tritons survived.
