Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine has been ongoing since February 24, 2022. Since the end of World War II, Europe hasn’t witnessed a war like this in over 76 years. Despite the slogan “Never Again” and efforts to restore the international security system, Russia fired over 900 missiles in 20 days, killing thousands of civilians and forcing over 3 million people to flee the country.
Until recently, pictures of people who were hiding in shelters were only thought of in historical stories. Now, they have become a new reality in many Ukrainian cities.
