Social media have sadly proved unready to serve as platforms for sharing the truth about the Russian war in Ukraine. Since the start of the brutal large-scale invasion, major social networks have blocked posts that aimed to tell the world about Russian crimes and the downright genocide of the Ukrainian people.
Russia has weaponized the vulnerabilities of the major online platforms and further increased the attacks on the accounts of Ukrainian volunteers, media, and public figures that organized fundraising.
