Russian invaders are holding 232 residents of the Zaporizhzhia region captive, the head of the Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Starukh reported as of December 12.
“During the 9 months of the war, numerous facts of human rights violations and violence have been documented. 573 of our fellow countrymen went through Russian captivity, 232 are still held hostage. At the same time, international organizations demonstrate helplessness in regard to violation of the right to life and safety,” Starukh said.
