UN updates data on civilian deaths

At least 10,582 civilians have been killed and 19,875 injured in Ukraine as a result of Russian aggression since 24 February 2022. This is stated in the report of the UN Human Rights Monitoring Mission.

The UN said that the total civilian casualties amounted to 30,457 people. This number includes 587 killed and 1298 injured children. In addition, the UN notes that the actual number of casualties may be higher, as information from the battlefields is received with a delay.

The National Police of Ukraine recorded the deaths of 9,700 civilians, and another 7,000 are missing. Data from the non-occupied territories.
