104 Russian torture chambers were discovered in the de-occupied territories of Ukraine. This was announced by Prosecutor General of Ukraine Andriy Kostin.
Kostin added that Ukraine is aware of 19 torture chambers on the territory of the Russian Federation.
The largest number of torture chambers was found in Kharkiv region – 25. In Zaporizhzhia region, 18 torture chambers were found, in Kherson region – 11, and in Donetsk region – 10.
The Prosecutor General emphasised that almost 90% of prisoners and detainees are subjected to torture or some form of violence.
