Who do you think, according to Russian propagandists, is responsible for Belarus discovering on its territory and detaining members of Russian private military company Wagner?
The answer may be surprising to those unfamiliar with the length to which Kremlin will stoop to deny the obvious, but they somehow blame the US, Ukraine, Lithuania and Poland – the countries who openly criticize Putin’s authoritarianism.
It needless to say that this scandal has nothing to do with these countries, but it does have everything to do with Putin’s shady usage of PMC Wagner (more on why its members ended up in Belarus here: ) in covert operationі abroad.
He cannot admit using this illegal military unit, however, and thus his lackeys on federal channels are forced to invent most ridiculous conspiracies to cover up yet another scandal.
