The Ukrainian army has approximately 880,000 servicemen. This was announced by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy in an interview with the German TV channel ARD.
For reference, at the beginning of the full-scale war, there were about 700,000 people in the Armed Forces. In October 2023, there were 850,000 people in the army (almost 117,000 officers, about 178,000 sergeants, and 516,000 soldiers).
