After months of Russian occupation, the southern city of Kherson is finally freed. The local residents survived all the horrors of Russian aggression: terror, violence, and torture chambers.
Despite fear and intimidation, Kherson residents were regularly showing their civil position at pro-Ukrainian rallies. It was their response to Russian weapons and fake referendums.
Even in moments of despair, Ukrainians of Kherson were waiting for liberation, hiding Ukrainian flags, and refusing to collaborate with occupiers. Now, when the enemy is trying to “take revenge” on the city with constant shellings, its residents are proud to have their freedom back – and no aggressor can inti.
UKRAINE IN FLAMES project is created by Ukraine Crisis Media Center and NGO “Euroatlantic Course”. We are aiming at searching a loud support for Ukraine in the war started by Russia on the 24th of February 2022.
