European security faces significant challenges due to the ongoing war in Ukraine and systematic russian provocation on the borders of the NATO members. The US elections will also impact European security dynamics, with the 2024 election raising questions about the integrity of Western democracies and the potential for future meddling.
The transatlantic relationship, crucial for European security, will be strained as the potential Trump administration takes unfavourable stances on NATO and relations with Russia. The strengthening of Russian military presence on the Baltic NATO borders raised desires for additional defence guarantees to contain the Kremlin.
One of the most vital strategies to maintain this goal is to continue financial and military support of Ukraine till Russia lose the war.
The evolving security landscape in Europe demands sustained transatlantic cooperation, cohesive Western responses to Russian aggression, and a vigilant approach to safeguarding democratic processes from external interference.
UKRAINE IN FLAMES project is created by Ukraine Crisis Media Center and NGO “Euroatlantic Course”. We are aiming at searching a loud support for Ukraine in the war started by Russia on the 24th of February 2022.
