Ukraine must welcome and engage with international journalists, particularly those from the Global South, to ensure diverse and comprehensive media coverage. By hosting journalists from the Global South, Ukraine can provide a more balanced and nuanced portrayal of the Russian aggressive war against peaceful Ukraine, fostering a deeper understanding of its complexities.
This can help counteract any potential biases or limited perspectives that may exist in international media coverage. Engaging with journalists from the Global South can also amplify Ukraine’s voice in international discourse, allowing the country to share its narrative and experiences with a broader audience.
That is why the Ukrainian Crisis Media held a press tour to explain to journalists from the Asian region the scale of Russian war crimes and the criminality of Russian actions in the international arena.
UKRAINE IN FLAMES project is created by Ukraine Crisis Media Center and NGO “Euroatlantic Course”. We are aiming at searching a loud support for Ukraine in the war started by Russia on the 24th of February 2022.
