The war started by Russia affected almost all aspects of life in Ukraine. This, in particular, concerns the topic of environmental and European integration reforms.
Reforms always require additional funding because first, it is necessary to spend on developing solutions and then even more on their implementation. Since war is a very resource-consuming activity, in conditions of limited resources, it is difficult to carry out serious reforms that do not directly affect the course of the war.
European integration requirements for Ukraine regarding reforms are a critical topic, and their implementation is necessary not only for formal compliance but also to increase the level of governance significantly. This, in turn, will make it possible to manage the budget more efficiently and improve the state of the economy.
UKRAINE IN FLAMES project is created by Ukraine Crisis Media Center and NGO “Euroatlantic Course”. We are aiming at searching a loud support for Ukraine in the war started by Russia on the 24th of February 2022.
