Russia has occupied 27% of Ukrainian territory, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said.
Zelenskyy said that a defensive operation is underway, and the creation of buffer zones on Russian territory is aimed at preventing the occupation of Ukrainian land. He also added that Ukraine does not annex anything to its territories and does not change legislation.
