“The Map of Destruction” is an online map of Ukraine, which shows the completely or partially destroyed objects of social, transport and housing infrastructure as a result of the invasion of the Russian Federation on the territory of Ukraine on February 24, 2022.
The map includes photos of places affected by the war, as well as what they looked like before the full-scale Russian invasion. More than 1,800 objects have already been placed on the map.
The site was created by the NGO “Anti-Corruption Headquarters” with the support of the International Renaissance Foundation.
The purpose of the Map
To help raise funds for the restoration of all destroyed objects. To do this, the Map accumulates information on all housing, social and infrastructure facilities destroyed by the Russian Federation. The government has set up a Fund for the Restoration of Destroyed Property and Infrastructure, after which anyone will be able to send funds to an open special account.
