On June 9, an illegitimate court in Russia’s proxy “DPR” sentenced three foreigners who served in the Armed Forces of Ukraine to death. The soldiers were captured by the Russian forces in the spring of 2022 in Mariupol and have been reportedly tortured while imprisoned.
Russia’s puppet “DPR” claims that two Britons and a Moroccan are mercenaries, however, they were directly employed by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. According to international law, they should be considered and treated as prisoners of war and cannot be subjected to execution.
