At the beginning of the big war, the artist Yevhenia Kim took up evacuation. She helped to evacuate women and children from Mykolayiv, which was half-encircled in late February. Yevhenia’s friend was wounded in the battle. The fighters couldn’t be evacuated and taken to the hospital in time. This was an impetus for a new area in the volunteer’s work – searching for and delivering evacuation vehicles and paramedics to the front.
