Always Together

People become volunteers not only to help others. When you lose your job, your children are taken away to a dangerous place, you are left alone with the war and you realize that you need help too. You go to a volunteer center like to a doctor with the hope of overcoming fear, loneliness, and despair. As a result, you get what you want, become better, and discover something new in people.

Kindness and beneficence are the goodwill of the human heart, understanding, gentleness, compassion, tenderness, love and empathy for people. This is not a weakness, but strength, because kindness and beneficence are characteristic of people who are able to come to the rescue.

“We are refugees. We don’t need much. We don’t know where we will be tomorrow. Give only what is necessary.”

“We are just happy because we are alive.”

Digging deeper into this topic gives a journalist invaluable experience and a lot of stories. Interesting, lively, colorful. Every day and every hour.

The Humanitarian Center “Always Together” from Zaporizhzhia, which we are going to tell you about, based on two Chernobyl organizations with vast experience in organizing and providing aid, united people of different ages – from 14 to 74 years old. All of them feel that each day of their work is a small but personal contribution to the victory.
