Since Russia has violated the territorial sovereignty of Georgia, the country now shows solidarity with Ukraine on the basis of common experience. Due to the Russian intervention, Georgia’s relations with Russia has long been tense.
Now, Georgian people support Ukraine in many ways and on many levels. While Ukraine fights for tye freedom of the whole democratic world, Georgians go out on rallies to support our country.
Russian neo-imperialism brought traumatic experiences to many countries. Now, they unite in solidarity to support each other, understanding we all have one common enemy.
UKRAINE IN FLAMES project is created by Ukraine Crisis Media Center and NGO “Euroatlantic Course”. We are aiming at searching a loud support for Ukraine in the war started by Russia on the 24th of February 2022.
