Despite Russia’s large-scale invasion followed by constant cyberattacks, Ukraine does not stop on its path of digitalization. Developed 3 years ago, the Ukrainian Diia became the first country in the world where digital passports became legal equivalents of paper ones.
Now, the Diia web portal and mobile apps provide various services for Ukrainian citizens, such as paying taxes, uploading a driving license, or even applying for marriage. Amid large-scale war, Ukrainians also can donate to the Armed Forces right in the mobile app.
Even in the hardest times, when Russia wages its information war in digital space, Ukraine keeps improving its e-governance service, and the country’s Ministry of Digital Transformation implements the world’s best digital practices.
UKRAINE IN FLAMES project is created by Ukraine Crisis Media Center and NGO “Euroatlantic Course”. We are aiming at searching a loud support for Ukraine in the war started by Russia on the 24th of February 2022.
