Almost 40% of the 5.8 million Ukrainian refugees from Europe have returned home at least once during the 1.5 years of war. This was reported in the New York Times.
The newspaper writes that according to a survey by the UN Refugee Agency, approximately 300,000 Ukrainian refugees return home from time to time for medical treatment or to visit relatives.
