These heavy weapons attacks continued for about five hours with pauses, the most intense one took place in Krasnohorivka. The enemy continued armed provocations, mostly with small arms, grenade launchers and armor,” elaborated Col. Lysenko.

In Donetsk sector, militants violated the ceasefire 18 times, using heavy weapons in six incidents. Hostilities continued mostly in the morning and in the evening. Russian proxies opened mortar fire, discharging a total of over 60 rounds at Svitlodarsk area, near Avdiivka and at Shakhta Butovka position. “In addition to light weapons, the enemy repeatedly used armored vehicles,” added Col. Lysenko. The ceasefire held near Donetsk airport.
