The Russians shelled a village in the Kherson region with artillery. A 16-year-old boy and a man died

On April 20, 2022, the Russian occupiers fired artillery at the village of Nova Zoria in the Kherson region. One of the enemy shells hit the house of a resident, killing a 16-year-old boy and a man.

This was reported in the Prosecutor General’s Office.

According to the investigation, at least one person was seriously injured.

The Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office is conducting a pre-trial investigation into criminal proceedings for violating the laws and customs of war, combined with premeditated murder (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

Currently, all possible and appropriate measures are being taken in the criminal proceedings to establish the circumstances of the events and the persons involved.
