Militants shelled Krasnohorivka with heavy armor in the morning today, damaging seven residential buildings, a school and a hospital, reported Ukrainian Ministry of Defense spokesman on ATO Colonel Oleksandr Motuzyanyk at a press briefing at Ukraine Crisis Media Center. “There were several fires, but they were successfully extinguished. According to preliminary information, eight Krasnohorivka inhabitants were wounded,” he said.

In Mariupol sector Russian proxies conducted 24 attacks, using heavy weapons in four of them. “Most ceasefire violations took place in Pavlopil-Shyrokyne frontline, with Pavlopil being a flashpoint, where militants conducted medium intensity attack with mortars and artillery. The enemy opened mortar fire twice at Chermalyk. Moreover, they sporadically attacked Maryinka with light weapons and used APC weapons at Novotroitske,” said Col. Motuzyanyk.

In Luhansk sector militants violated the ceasefire nine times, using Minsk-proscribed weapons in four cases. They conducted two artillery attacks in Troitske, firing over 50 122-mm projectiles. “Russian proxies used mortars in three more attacks in Krymske, Novooleksandrivka and Novozvanivka. The enemy used only small arms near Stanytsia Luhanska,” added the spokesman.

In Donetsk sector militants conducted 16 ceasefire violations, using heavy weapons seven times. They carried out two small arms provocations in Zaitseve and Pisky, and shelled Zaitseve with artillery. Russia-backed militant groups delivered five more mortar attacks in Avdiivka-Shakhta Butovka frontline.  “No Ukrainian serviceman was killed in action yesterday, but eight troops were wounded,” summarized Col.
