The head of Odessa regional administration Igor Palitsa has sent a letter to Ukraine’s Prosecutor General Vitaliy Yarema about MP Sergey Kivalov’s involvement in separatists’ activity. “In the article mentioned above after extremely freely interpretation of historic facts, the author makes conclusions which could foment hostility between Ukrainians, who live in western and eastern regions. These calls could be qualified as elements of the crime, mentioned in part 2, article 110 of Ukraine’s Criminal Code,” Palitsa points out.

New checkpoint will be opened on the border of Crimea and Kherson region, Kherson regional state administration’s press office informs. The official ceremony will take place tomorrow, 21 August. Kherson’s governor Yuriy Odarchenko will take part in the ceremony. It is unclear where the new checkpoint will be. It is likely, it’ll be organized in Kalanchak small town region.
