On April 11, at 11:00, Ukraine Crisis Media Center will host a presentation of the new project of the Ukrainian Institute of International Policy with the support of USAID “Restoring Ukrainian Communities through Joint Efforts”.

The program includes: 

Presentation of the project: objectives, activities, communication methods and results and inclusion from communities with the participation of speakers.

The project “Joint Response for Ukrainian Communities Recovery” aims to promote the development of communities in the liberated regions of Ukraine by establishing an effective dialogue between local authorities, business and civil society and forming a common vision of sustainable recovery. 

Its participants include 30 communities from Dnipro, Kirovohrad, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Kharkiv, and Kherson regions. 

What are the project objectives?

  • Promoting community development in the liberated regions of Ukraine by establishing an effective dialogue between local governments, businesses, and civil society organizations (CSOs) and forming a common vision of sustainable recovery.  
  • Supporting participatory methods in planning and decision-making processes for the future of communities. 
  • Improving the processes and capacity of local self-government

The project “Joint Response for Ukrainian Communities Recovery” is implemented by the NGO Ukrainian Institute for International Politics with the support of USAID.
