On June 19, at 11:00 a.m., Ukraine Crisis Media Center (Kyiv, 2 Khreshchatyk St.) will host an open discussion on the topic: “Ukrainian refugees in EU countries: to stay or to return? Living conditions, adaptation problems, incentives to return home.”
Organizer: National Platform for Resilience and Social Cohesion.
During the discussion, there will be a presentation of the National Platform research on the living conditions of Ukrainians in EU countries and recommendations for strengthening protection of their rights.
The main issues for discussion:
• Conditions of Ukrainian refugees’ life in the EU during a large-scale war;
• What should be changed to strengthen the protection of Ukrainians’ rights in the EU;
• How to interact with Ukrainians and facilitate their return home after the war?
The National Platform for Resilience and Social Cohesion was launched in February 2018. Our
strategic priorities are Resilience of the state and society, cohesion and unity. Since its inception, the National Platform for Resilience and Social Cohesion has held more than 80 public events at the national, regional and local levels and attracted leading international experts on peace building, transitional justice, informational reintegration, social cohesion and national unity.
