4 million Ukrainian citizens have moved to the EU

About 4 million Ukrainians have fled due to Russia’s full-scale invasion. They have been granted temporary protection status and are under the auspices of the Temporary Protection Directive. This was announced by European Commissioner for Home Affairs Ilva Johansson, who arrived in Kyiv on Thursday, 11 May.

The European Commissioner said that more than 700,000 Ukrainians are employed in the EU, and about 450,000 children are studying at colleges or schools.
