It is important to understand that Russia is trying to spread anti-NATO sentiments not only in Ukraine, but in most European countries, with an especially big focus on post-Soviet states and ex-members of the Eastern bloc.
Meanwhile, such an active barrage of anti-NATO rhetoric is not even that effective, since according to the recent poll by Democratic Initiatives Foundation-Фонд “Демократичні Ініціативи”, 51% of Ukrainians think that joining NATO is the best way to guarantee the security of the country.
