This quote of Renat Kuzmin, MP from Medvedchuk’s party “Opposition Platform – For Life” comes from discussing new pro-Russian initiative on finding Ukrainian national identity, which concluded with a decision to establish Ukrainian Front of Protecting National Remembrance.
The initiative was introduced as allegedly apolitical and yet Kuzmin’s party affiliation is clearly identified and the whole event was broadcasted via Medvedchuk’s channel Zik.
All of this is a clear signal that pro-Russian forces in Ukraine are determined to start revising historical narratives with the same rigor Kremlin is doing at home.
