In the latest #KremlinNarratives we would like to introduce Yurii Pavlenko – currently an MP from Medvedchuk’s pro-Russian party “Opposition Platform – For Life”.
We can observe anti-Ukrainian propaganda bordering conspiracy theories in this statement ranging from “Ukraine is governed from the outside” to “These outside forces are interested in decline of population and standards of living in Ukraine”.
This is used to play on fears of audience, especially at the times of an economic crisis and anxiety due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and thus it is easier to convince them that “malicious third parties” are the crux of the problem.
