Up-to-date equipment to be presented to Lysychansk museum

On December 5 at 11:00  equipment worth of about UAH 200 thousand (approx. $7,400) will be passed to the Lysychansk Local History Museum (Peremohy avenue 94). Additionally, the museum will present the concept of the “Museum laboratory” – a series of educational workshops for schools.

Presentation participants:

Leonid Marushchak, curator of the Arts Department of Ukraine Crisis Media Center, head of the project “Under construction: Museum open II”;

Nina Bondar, director of the Lysychansk Local History Museum;

the event will be attended by other guests.

Lysychansk Local History Museum will receive the equipment in the framework of the second stage of the project Rediscovering Eastern Ukraine Heritage – “Under construction: Museum open II”. The project is implemented by the Arts Department of Ukraine Crisis Media Center with the financial support of “Ukraine Confidence Building Initiative” (UCBI II), funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).

The equipment includes a quadcopter, photo and video camera, projector, laptops, tablets, printer, e-microscope and a series of other up-to-date gadgets altogether worth of over 200 thousand hryvnias (7,4 thousand US dollars). It is expected that the museum will use the equipment to set up the “Museum Laboratory” that will hold educational and research activities as well as will work with the schools of the region.

Media representatives, industry professionals and everyone interested are welcome to attend the presentation.
