Overview

Remnants of the former regime continue to oppose change in Ukraine. But many in the political elite are genuinely attempting to eradicate corruption and create a level playing field in both business and politics. This volatility has an impact on how Ukrainians see their future and contributes to their lack of trust toward their government. This event will focus on the relationship between the state and society in Ukraine. The speakers will offer introductory comments on the potential drivers of transformation, the levels of trust in public institutions, and the key components of a new social contract.

The speakers will offer brief introductory remarks, followed by approximately an hour for questions and discussion.

Attendance at this event is by invitation only.
