Putin and Shoigu are to involve minors in the war against Ukraine, – Chief Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine
This plan is regulated by the order “On the organization of the involvement of members of the military-patriotic public movement “Young army” in conducting a special operation in Ukraine” signed by Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu.
The Young army is a radical military organization under the Russian Ministry of Defense. Its members are children from 8 years old.
As the occupiers lack human resources, the Kremlin considers involving minors in the war and making proposals for their training. Gennady Zhidko, the head of the central military-political department of the Russian Armed Forces, controls the issue.
▫️Germany conducted similar actions during World War II. High school students served in the units of the Hitler Youth. Moreover, in the period of 1944-1945, 150,000 underage girls were recruited into Hitler’s army.
