??Russian media are promoting one of Kremlin’s favorite narratives about fascism/Nazism in countries that oppose Putin the most: Ukraine and Baltic states.?Not only are they always using labels like Nazism and fascism interchangeably and spreading fake news about aforementioned countries, it is also curious that ethnophobia levels in Russia – the country that calls itself the sole conqueror of Nazism – are continuously on the rise.?According to SOVA Center for Information and Analysis, one of the few remaining independent human rights organizations in Russia, ethnophobia level (measured by respondent naming at least one particular ethnos the number of which they would like to decrease in their country) was a staggering 71% in 2019.
