We have previously reported on numerous examples of anti-American conspiracy on Russian media and we have written about systemic misogyny that stems from Kremlin’s policies (Mapping Kremlin’s Anti-Gender Politics and Their Implications).
And now we have this bizarre and sexist speech about “female mafia in CIA”, which is so ridiculous that participants of a scripted propagandist show, aimed at glorifying Putin’s regime, are even snickering at the suggestion.
Yet, there is nothing funny about this outburst, since these kinds of statements are repeated daily on all major channels in Russia and thus the local audience can be prone to believing into any conspiracy, even as laughable as “female mafia in CIA”.
